Who we are
Promise (on the App Store as “Promise: Camera Rep Counter”) is made by NETKREATIVES BV (“NetKreatives”, “we”), Volaardestraat 88, 9200 Dendermonde, Belgium, enterprise number 0638.905.445.
For anything about privacy, email support@movepromise.com.
The short version
Promise does not collect personal data. It has no account, no login, no server of ours, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Camera images are analysed on your iPhone and never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. Your progress is stored only on your device.
Camera
During a movement session Promise uses your iPhone camera to detect your body position and count reps and held seconds. The camera images are processed live, in memory, on your iPhone. They are never recorded, saved to your device, or uploaded. We never see them.
Promise asks for camera access when you start your first session. You can change this at any time in iPhone Settings › Promise › Camera. Without camera access the app cannot count a session, but nothing else needs the camera.
What stays on your iPhone
Promise stores your chosen settings (movement, target, planned weekdays, reminder time, sound and haptics) and your completed movements with their dates and time zones, plus the progress shown from them.
This data is kept in the app's own storage on your iPhone. It is not sent to us and is not synced through any server of ours. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, that backup may include it under your own device settings; Apple's terms apply to those backups.
Reminders
Reminders are optional. If you turn them on, Promise asks for notification permission and schedules local notifications on your iPhone. There is no push server and no notification token is sent anywhere.
Subscriptions and payments
Promise Pro subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details; we never receive your name, card or Apple Account details. The app checks your subscription status with Apple on your device. Apple's own privacy policy applies to App Store purchases.
When you email us
If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you, keep the conversation only as long as needed to help (or as long as the law requires), and never use it for marketing. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request. Please don't send camera footage.
This website
movepromise.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. Like any web server, our hosting and network providers may briefly keep technical request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) to keep the site secure and working.
Children
Promise collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because your app data never leaves your iPhone, you control it directly: deleting the app deletes it (see “Delete your data”). For any email you sent us, you can ask to see, correct or delete it by writing to support@movepromise.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area you may also complain to a data protection authority. In Belgium that is the Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), dataprotectionauthority.be.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and its effective date. If Promise ever starts collecting data, this page will say so before that version of the app is released.
