Terms of Use

The agreement

Promise is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). These terms add a few points specific to Promise. The developer is NETKREATIVES BV, Volaardestraat 88, 9200 Dendermonde, Belgium, enterprise number 0638.905.445.

Promise Pro subscription

Promise needs an auto-renewing Promise Pro subscription after the short setup. Two plans are offered: a yearly plan that starts with a 7-day free trial, and a weekly plan. The price for your country is the price shown in the app before you confirm.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Health and safety

Promise is a movement habit app. It is not a fitness programme, not a medical device and not medical advice. It does not assess whether an exercise is suitable for you.

Check with a doctor or other qualified professional before you start if you have a health condition, injury or pregnancy that could affect exercise. Stop immediately if a movement hurts or you feel dizzy, faint or short of breath.

Move in a clear space with stable footing, and place your phone where it cannot fall. You are responsible for choosing movements and targets that are comfortable for you.

Camera counting

Counting depends on lighting, framing, clothing and how you move. We work to make it accurate but cannot guarantee that every rep or second is counted, or counted exactly.

Your progress

Your progress is stored only on your iPhone. We cannot see, back up or restore it. Deleting the app removes it.

Our content

Momo, the app's artwork, animation, sounds and text are original work owned by NetKreatives. You may not copy or redistribute them outside normal use of the app.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Promise is provided as is and NetKreatives is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the current version.
